Job Summary:

Landscaping Company in Vaughan is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to oversee their social media presence and content creation. As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for creating and implementing social media campaigns, managing social media accounts, and producing engaging and relevant content for various platforms. You will be working closely with project managers on jobsites to shoot targeted content for their landscaping company that mainly specialises on building swimming pools.

Responsibilities:

• Visit our existing ongoing landscaping projects and shoot content using drone, phone and camera. Edit the videos and photos for our website and social media use.
• Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand and goals
• Manage social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others
• Shoot, edit and publish engaging content across all social media channels, including graphics, videos, and written content
• Monitor social media trends, keep up with changes in the industry, and adjust strategies as needed
• Use social media analytics tools to track performance and provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and other metrics to management
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and share relevant insights with the team
• Monitor and manage social media advertising campaigns, including setting budgets, targeting, and measuring effectiveness
• Work with external agencies and partners as needed to produce content and manage campaigns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and strategy development
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media campaigns
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use social media analytics tools to track performance and provide reports
• Creative thinker with an eye for design and visuals
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with social media advertising campaigns is a plus
